Careers at TimBrik

We’re building CRM software for home builders. If you know how to code and you’re tired of working on products that don’t matter, keep reading.

Current Status

TimBrik is in beta. We have paying customers, active development, and a clear product direction. We’re not a massive team, but we want to grow fast.

What We’re Building

Software that home builders actually want to use. That means:

  • Lot inventory management
  • Lead tracking that makes sense for construction timelines
  • Buyer communication tools
  • Build progress tracking
  • Integration with the tools builders already use

We’re not trying to be everything to everyone. We serve one market well instead of serving ten markets poorly.

How We Work

Mostly remote.

We don’t do daily standups. We don’t have sprint planning meetings that could’ve been emails. We don’t track your hours or monitor your screen time.

We care about what you ship, not when you’re online.

Communication: Slack for quick stuff. Longer discussions happen in writing so people can read and respond on their schedule. Video calls when actually needed, not by default.

Tools: Whatever works best for you. Most of the team uses VSCode, Figma, Linear for project tracking. If you have strong preferences, we’ll work with them.

Open Positions

Full-Stack Developer

We need someone who can work across the entire stack. Right now that’s React on the frontend, Node.js backend, PostgreSQL database, deployed on AWS.

You should be comfortable:

  • Writing clean, maintainable code
  • Making architectural decisions
  • Reviewing code from other developers
  • Talking to customers about what they actually need

Years of experience matter less than what you can actually build. If you’ve shipped real products that real people use, we want to talk to you.

What you’ll work on:

  • New features based on builder feedback
  • Performance improvements (our customers work on job sites with spotty internet)
  • API integrations with construction management tools
  • Database optimization as we scale

What we’re looking for:

  • You’ve built and shipped web applications before
  • You can explain technical decisions to non-technical people
  • You’re good at figuring out what problem actually needs solving
  • You don’t need constant direction but you ask good questions when stuck

Product Designer

We need someone who understands UX for business software. Not consumer apps with delightful animations. Business tools that people need to use 20 times a day without getting frustrated.

Our users are busy. They’re on job sites. They’re talking to subcontractors. They need software that gets out of their way.

What you’ll work on:

  • Interface design for new features
  • Improving existing workflows based on user feedback
  • Design system maintenance
  • User research with actual home builders

What we’re looking for:

  • Portfolio showing B2B or SaaS products you’ve designed
  • Understanding of accessibility and responsive design
  • Ability to work with engineers to implement designs
  • Comfort with ambiguity (we’re figuring this out as we go)

Customer Success Lead

This isn’t a support role. You’ll work directly with builders using TimBrik, figure out what they need, and help shape the product based on real usage patterns.

What you’ll do:

  • Onboard new beta users
  • Gather feedback and identify patterns
  • Create documentation and training materials
  • Work with the product team to prioritize features
  • Help builders get the most out of TimBrik

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in construction, real estate, or related industries (you need to speak the language)
  • Comfortable with technology (you’ll be teaching people how to use software)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to translate customer feedback into actionable product insights

What We Offer

Compensation: Market rate salary plus equity. We’re a small company, so the equity actually means something. We’ll share our cap table during the interview process.

Time Off: Unlimited PTO policy that we actually encourage you to use. Everyone takes at least 3 weeks a year. The founders take time off regularly to set the example.

Flexibility: Work from wherever. Set your own hours around core collaboration time.

What We Don’t Offer

Free lunch, ping pong tables, or company happy hours. We’re remote and we’re focused on building a sustainable business, not recreating a college dorm.

Unlimited growth opportunity. We’re a small company serving a specific market. You’ll get better at what you do, but we’re not going to 10x in headcount next year.

Fancy office space. We don’t have one.

Interview Process

Step 1: Submit your application with resume and relevant work samples.

Step 2: 30-minute call with Bogdan to discuss the role and answer your questions.

Step 3: Technical assessment or portfolio review (depends on the role). This should take 2-3 hours max. We pay $200 for your time.

Step 4: Working session with the team. You’ll spend a few hours on a real problem we’re facing. Paid at your expected hourly rate.

Step 5: Final conversation about compensation, logistics, and timing.

Whole process takes 2-3 weeks typically. We’ll keep you updated at every step.

How to Apply

Send an email to careers@timbrik.com with:

  • Your resume or LinkedIn profile
  • Links to work you’ve done (GitHub, portfolio, case studies, whatever’s relevant)
  • A few sentences about why you’re interested in TimBrik specifically

Please don’t send a cover letter. Just tell us what you’re good at and why this role makes sense for you.

We review applications every week and respond to everyone within 5 business days.

Not Seeing Your Role?

We’re always open to talking with talented people even if we don’t have an open position. If you think you’d be a good fit for TimBrik, send us an email explaining what you’d work on and why. Sometimes the best hires come from conversations we weren’t planning to have.
